【Software】在ubuntu裡使用原來Firefox的設定

在Windows下用習慣的Firefox，在轉移到ubuntu後還要重新設定、安裝 add-on 嗎? 當然不用，只要把 Windows 裏 Firefox 的 profile 複製過來就行了。要怎麼做呢? 首先把 Windows 裏的 Firefox profile 複製到 ubuntu 中你喜歡的地方，然後將 Firefox 的捷徑拉到桌面，複製成一個新的

在圖示上點選滑鼠右鍵 -> 屬性，以開啟捷徑設定視窗

在指命那欄，把它改成 firefox -ProfileManager 然後點右下角的 關閉 按鈕

在點二下剛剛那個捷徑後，就可以看到 Firefox Profile Manager 了，這時點 Create Profile 按鈕來新增一個 profile

這邊就是告訴你一些叭啦叭啦....有的沒的，直接點 Next 就行了

先幫這個新的 profile 輸入一個名字，然後點 Choose Folder... 並選擇你剛剛放複製過來profile的資料夾，選好了後就會像上圖中間那個框一樣，接著點 Finish 就行了

點選你剛剛建好的 profile，然後再點 Start Firefox，等 Firefox 視窗出現，你就可以在 ubnutu 裏使用你熟悉的 Firefox 環境了，不過像有些像是 IE tab 在 Windows 下專用的 add-on，當然是不可能可以用啦~~~

還我 「訂閱到 Google Reader」！

在 Firefox 2 裡頭可以點選網頁裡的 RSS 之後，選擇用什麼程式訂閱，若是選擇用 Google 的話，就會再轉到另一個頁面問你要用 Reader 或是個人首頁訂閱。


可是在最近不知道為什麼，總是只有個人首頁這個選項可以選，再加上我本身沒在用個人首頁，所以我希望將它直接加到 Google Reader 裡頭。從這篇文章找到了解法：

1. 在網址列輸入 about:config
   
2. 在過濾器輸入 contentHandler
   
3. 沒意外的話 browser.contentHandlers.types.2.title 顯示的值應該是 Google Reader
4. 把 browser.contentHandlers.types.2.uri 的值改成 http://www.google.com/reader/view/feed/%s
   
5. 重開 Firefox 就行啦
